Saturday October 24th interventions will focus on the crucial theme of the environment. Thanks to its capacity to purify the air, transforming as it grows large quantities of carbon dioxide into oxygen, bamboo, also because of its versatility and many uses, is a material of great importance for sustainable development, and an important ally in the effort to meet the objectives set down in the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development of the United Nations.
Contributions by Li Zhiyong, (Chief Expert at ICBR, Vice-President of CBIA China), Alessio Malcevschi (University of Parma), Anna Zanetti, (architect), Luis Fallas Calderon (executive director of Fundebambu, Costa Rica) and Maurizio Corrado, (architect and writer) will delve deep into the subject from its many angles.
